Up North Cabinet Makers design, manufacture and install kitchens and fitted furniture for a domestic market in South Yorkshire and the surrounding areas. Everything we make is to a high standard, with an importance placed on sustainability at every stage of the business. Projects can include kitchens, wardrobes, bookshelves, alcove cabinets, entertainment units, studies, freestanding furniture and more. We cater to a broad range of budgets, styles, and tastes. Everything is designed and made from our workshop in Sheffield, where we have a range of tools and equipment.

We are looking for someone with a passion for creating beautiful furniture with a consideration of its environmental impact. Marketing Wizard
What would you be doing?
When a customer makes an enquiry, a design is produced using our CAD package, SolidWorks. Once the customer is happy, the furniture is manufactured in the workshop – all pieces are bespoke and spray finished before installing in the customer’s home. Typical day-to-day activities will include:
Social media content creation
Photography and video creation using a DSLR
Google Ads
Facebook ads
Website development and blog posting
Data analysis of campaign performance
Communicating with customers
Keeping customer records updated on Trello, our Customer Relationship Management system, and embracing the other various technologies we use.
Development of business practices
What type of person are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will:
Experience with email marketing, social media, updating website and SEO/PPC
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Have a high level of IT literacy
Have impeccable attention to detail and an eye for design
Be a confident communicator
Be motivated and enthusiastic to learn and progress
Ability to work well in a team
Have a full clean UK driving licence, or willing to learn to drive, as the role requires work on customers’ sites
The following would be a bonus, but don’t be put off if not:
A relevant degree in marketing or events is desirable
Experience with SEO
What are all the practical details?
Starting salary: £22,000 - £28,000 (dependent on experience)
Contract type: Permanent full-time contract, however part-time hours will be considered
Location: Unit 5, Unity Works, 329 Petre Street, Sheffield, S4 8LJ
COVID-19 Start details: You will be required to work in the workshop and in customers’ homes (following up to date government COVID-19 guidelines).
Transport and parking: Free parking is available. The office is serviced by bus routes and is a 5-minute walk from the nearest bus stop. There are cycle storage and shower facilities.
Start date: Immediate
